I no longer seek, that which cannot be; I do not need, that which I cannot see;
Images of mirrors and mirrors of images, turning me inside and out; A hopeless voice, yearning to shout;
Sherpa, Sherpa guide me along; help me find a place to which I belong; I’ve been west, and I’ve been east; I’ve seen angels and I’ve seen the beast;
Demanding fortunes of greater good; beckoning recklessly to leave the should; Oh if I could find a way, a way to yesterday;
I would turn eloquently to the left, Always avoid the right, those helpless souls lost in night; Longing so restless agony lights;
Knowing crude directionless shows; No maps, in a world of infinite places to go; A place with no paths, complexity hidden in maths; Equal to none and no greater than thee, less and immense, as lonely as sea;
Sherpa, Sherpa guide me along; help me find a place to which I belong; I’ve been west, and I’ve been east; I’ve seen angels and I’ve seen the beast;
I’ve been up, and I’ve been down; and I’ve gone round and round; Now I seek a simple place, restlessly longing for a different pace; My body beckoning, spirits chased;   Heartfelt silence in heart found; My mind finally laid to waste.
That’s the sound.
