Life, merely a moment in an infinite expanse of time and space;
Lives fragmented, people clinging to the notion that life is about humanity;
A speck of dust dancing in a vast see of sunlight;
A tree attempting to find its way into the day;
Paths diverging and reconnecting in the depths;
Souls attempting to discover the meaning of it all;
The dawn of human consciousness;
A relentless search for truth;
Here we are, now, realizing how small our niche truly is;
And what little we know;
To think that we are the purpose of life;
To think that we are central to life;
Might we rest knowing that we are simply just another highly organized expression in the bounty of the Cosmos.
